OUR BELIEFS

ABOUT GOD

ABOUT GOD

God the Father is the creator and sustainer of all things, and He created the universe in love. He eternally exists in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is three persons; co-equal; co-eternal.

ABOUT GOD THE SON

ABOUT GOD THE SON

Jesus Christ is eternally God. For our redemption, He left heaven and became flesh by the Holy Spirit through the virgin Mary; therefore, He is forever one Christ with two natures - God and man - in one person. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven's glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

ABOUT GOD THE SPIRIT

ABOUT GOD THE SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is God, the Lord and giver of life. He resides inside all believers and is the teacher of spiritual truth. He empowers His church for service and witness, cleanses people from the old nature and conforms them to the image of Christ.

ABOUT THE BIBLE

ABOUT THE BIBLE

The Bible is the inerrant Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit.

ABOUT SALVATION

ABOUT SALVATION

The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin; therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

ABOUT BAPTISM

ABOUT BAPTISM

Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is a public declaration that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Baptism does not save you; instead, it declares to all witnesses that an eternal relationship of faith in Jesus Christ has already begun. While baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.

We pull our strategy from Acts 2:42-47

The church in Acts 2 provides the strategy for carrying out the mission of Life Center Church.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone in need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”

Attend

Come. To be here is the starting point for everyone at Life Center Church. We worship together weekly. We believe God-sized things happen when we come together for worship and the teaching of God's Word. It's the starting point for every week. ("They devoted themselves to the Apostles teaching and the fellowship, the breaking of bread and to prayer." ACTS 2:42)

Connect

We connect in a number of ways at Life Center Church, but our primary connection is through LifeGroups. To know, and to be known is a fundamental need in every human being. Every one seeks healthy intimacy of heart and mind, and LifeGroups offer the friendships that produce that sound accountability nestled in comfortable settings. ("They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts." ACTS 2:46")

Transform

We want all people to experience a growing relationship with the one true God. To grow is to be changed. Transformed. For a plant to grow, nutients, environments and conditions must be healthy, strong, consistent.
The same is true of a believer of Jesus Christ. To grow, the New Testament believers gathered regularly for teaching fellowship and prayer.("The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." ACTS 2:47")

Share

We want all people to experience a relationship with the one true God and that happens when we share our story. The easiest story to tell is a personal one. Inviting others to meet Jesus Christ because you told them your own experience with his life-changing forgiveness is both basic and explodingly rewarding. His story is your story to share. ("The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." ACTS 2:47)
