Pastoral Care

COUNSELING

The Babb Center is a counseling ministry extension of FBC Hendersonville. The counseling ministry began in 1995 with the addition of the first member to the church staff to provide counseling services to the community.

Services Provided: Compassionate Counseling, Pre-marital Counseling, Divorce Care, Career Counseling, Expressways to Learning.

The BabbCenter is open for scheduling in-person sessions based on counselor availability until 6:00 pm Monday – Thursday and until 5:00 pm on Friday. Sessions at 6:00pm and 7:00pm are available for telehealth only Monday – Thursday.

RESTORATION

The Mission of Hope Center Ministries (HCM): to lead addicts and their families to become fully devoted followers of Christ. 

Hope Center Ministries provides discipleships homes for men and women. HCM is a recovery program for addicts that is unapologetically Christ-centered. They provide the resources and tools necessary to find recovery.

Services Provided: Year long, 3 phase recovery program. Once in the program you will have access to Individual Lay Counseling, Group Lay Counseling, Personal Spiritual Development, Program Curriculum, Bible Studies, Devotions, Daily Reflection, and Family Support.

The Recovery Refuge is a redemptive recovery treatment center for men. It is a bridge from the Church and a bridge back to the Church. Through relational discipleship, soul care counseling, and much more, Recovery Refuge teach men to establish their identity in Christ, their life around Scripture, and their emotional and spiritual health in the promises of God, helping them to establish strong accountability and a healthy community ready to receive them upon their return. We do this through a healthy partnership with their sending Church, local mentors, and recovery meetings across Sumner County.

Services Provided: Recovery treatment center for men that includes relational discipleship, and soul care counseling.

DOMESTIC & SEXUAL VIOLENCE

Nashville’s Family Safety Center serves individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking or child abuse.

The Family Safety Center (FSC) is one of the largest Family Justice Centers in the country. The FSC increases the safety of victims of domestic and sexual violence, child and elder abuse, and human trafficking by creating a supportive environment for victims to receive free and confidential services from a variety of providers.

Free and confidential services provided : Safety Planning, Danger Assessment, Orders of Protection, Counseling, Crisis Intervention, Shelter/Housing Assistance, Emergency Food Assistance, Children’s Services, Support Groups, Referrals to Partner Agencies, Address Confidentiality Assistance, Domestic Violence Education.

YWCA empowers domestic violence survivors to take control of their lives, while offering them safety and the resources to ensure their self-sufficiency. YWCA is the largest provider of domestic violence services in the state of Tennessee. YWCA’s Weaver Domestic Violence Center is a 65-bed emergency shelter in an undisclosed location in Nashville.

Free and confidential services provided : 24-hour Crisis & Support Helpline & TEXT Line, Emergency shelter at Weaver Domestic Violence Center, Pet Shelter, One-on-one case management services, Adult and children’s counseling, Strengthening Families Program (TANF grant), Support to residents with accessing Nashville/Davidson County’s Coordinated Entry System, Community education & outreach, Financial literacy education, Career counseling.

The Mission of The Storehouse: to share the good news of Jesus Christ with lost and hurting people. The Storehouse provides food and clothing, to persons within Eastern Robertson County. Open weekly on Mondays, persons may come in to receive assistance.

Services Provided: Food box, clothing, and financial assistance.

Food Services are available Mondays 9:00 AM-4:00 pm.
